Product Description

The HPL77 twin-screw extruder has been successfully applied in the production of high-concentration carbon black masterbatch granules. Featuring its high specific torque design, it delivers significantly higher output and lower processing temperature compared with conventional low-torque extruders of the same screw diameter. The lower processing temperature effectively prevents thermal degradation of polymer materials, ensuring stable product quality.

Our advantages

1. High Output

Our extruders deliver 1 to 2 times higher output compared with conventional low-torque twin-screw extruders of the same screw diameter. Our largest extruder achieves a maximum output of 12 tons per hour per unit.

2. Significant Energy Savings

For the same output capacity, our compact extruders can replace larger models from other manufacturers. For example, our HPL51 model delivers higher output than conventional 65 mm extruders. This results in lower energy consumption, reduced material waste and smaller production footprint.

Additionally, we use electric heating rods instead of cast copper heaters, achieving 15 to 20 percent energy savings during operation.

3. Advanced Technical Design

  • High specific torque: Gearbox specific torque up to 15 Nm/cm³
  • High operating speed: Maximum input speed up to 1800 rpm

4. Extended Service Life

Radial bearings on the dual output shafts are theoretically free of radial load due to our symmetrical drive design. This significantly extends the service life of critical bearing components. The gearbox has a designed service life of 72000 hours, approximately 10 years under normal operating conditions.

5. Fully Customizable Design

  • Wide OD/ID ratio range: 1.33 to 2.0
  • Customizable screw-to-barrel clearance: Minimum clearance as low as 0.15 mm
